What are our opening times?

Opening hours summer 2023

Høy & Lavt Climbing park + Mountain Cart + SUP/Canoe rental
20. May - 25. June:
Open every weekend 10:30 - 17:30

28. June - 13. August:
Open every day 10:30 - 17:30

19. August - 08. October:
Open every weekend 10:30 - 17:30

Fall break (week 41):
Open every day 10:30 - 17:30

Canyonning
Open Thurs - Sun from 6th of July to August 13th.
After Aug 13th: Open every Sat + Sun until week 41

Water park + Frisbee golf
Open every day from the opening day until the midle of September.
To be used at your own risk.

The lift (used in mountain carts) may close if there's too much rain or thunder/lightning.

Height and age restrictions

Children below 6 years needs to be under supervision by a responsible adult in the orange and blue courses. Children under 12 years old (or less than 140 cm) needs to be accompanied by a responsible adult in red and blue courses. Children over 13 years (and 140 cm) can climb all the courses alone. We do reccommend minimum 1 adult pr. 4th child.

The quick jump is classified as blue and can be used by children over 10 years and taller than 140 cm.

How do we book and pay?

You can book all activities on www.sirdalsommerpark.no or www.hoytlavt.no/sirdal

You will receive a confirmation email to the address that you used in the webshop.

What kind of training do we get before entering the park?

All who are using the climbing park needs to attend a short safety course before they start climbing. It is only nessecary to do the course one time per season.

What's the maximum capacity in the park?

The park has a limited amount of capacity and you should therefore book in advance to be sure you have a spot. Tickets can be bought online up until arrival time.

Where do we park?

There's plenty of free parking spots next to the park.

Do we need to purchase a ticket if we're not climbing?

No, you don't need a ticked unless you are climbing or using any of our acitvities.

Are we allowed to bring our own food?

Yes you're allowed to enjoy your own food here, but not in the restaurant area.

Can we bring our dog?

Yes you can, but remember to keep it on a leash and make sure you pick up after it's been to the toilet.

We do facilitate for special needs, but this needs to be agreed on upon arrival. For questions please contact us on sirdal@hoytlavt.no.

If the weather turns bad?

The park is open no matter how the weather is, but thunder and lightning and/or too much wind can lead to closure of the whole or part of the park. If the park have to close due to bad weather you are not entitled to a refund.
